  • Larabie Free Fonts - Here, you can download Windows true type fonts completely free of charge. For all of them, you'll need a compression tool such as WinZip to extract the files.   • Web Font List - At this site, you'll find over 3000 TrueType fonts to download, in many creative categories. Some examples of the sections here include: "Cartoonish" Fonts, Classic Fonts, Graffiti Fonts, Messy Fonts, "Roundish" Fonts, Thin Fonts, etc. Please note that shareware fonts are listed amongst the freeware fonts, so before usage, please take note of which version you've downloaded.

  • The Dingbat Pages - A good collection of dingbats can be found at The Dingbat Pages. (A dingbat is a font which displays pictures when certain keys are pressed). There is everything here from aliens and "windings" to smiley faces and vegetables. Their latest design is much easier to navigate and manages to cram pack lots of useful information onto the home page without looking cluttered.

  • Fonts & Things - Here, you'll find a collection of the most unusual fonts online. Fonts & Things categorises their fonts alphabetically and also provides full colour previews of how the font will look before you download it. The FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section is particularly useful for beginners and explains how to download, de-compress, install and then use new fonts.

  • Free Halloween Fonts - "Fontenstein" is an exciting and well-designed free Halloween fonts site, with a ton of spooky freeware fonts ready for download.
